The 18th century gave the state of Zacatecas a splendid bullring that, over the years, was in need of being restored. What was once the plaza is today one of Mexico’s most unusual and authentic hotels: Quinta Real. Without losing sight of the original essence of its architecture, the space has been adapted to contemporary needs. The basements function as bars, the coso, or bullring, as the central patio and the stands have been converted into flower-filled balconies.
